Nellie McClung Park serves as an important natural connection between Queen Elizabeth Park and Henrietta Louise Edwards Park. A connection for nature lovers, commuters, and wildlife alike; great for activities like biking, walking, bird watching and plant identification. It is a beautiful spot with expansive views of the North Saskatchewan River and a lovely vista of the downtown core. While a paved path flows through the park for park users, the park still manages to feel wild with hidden dirt trails meandering along the river bank. Truly a great spot to get away from city life while still remaining in the city and definitely warranting a visit from those who haven’t had a chance to check it out previously.
